La shortlist dei Game Awards 2023 è ora disponibile, ed è dominata in particolare da due giochi: Baldur’s Gate 3 e Alan Wake 2.

Entrambi i titoli sono candidati a otto premi, tra cui Gioco dell’Anno, Migliore Direzione del Gioco e Migliore Narrativa.

Nella categoria Miglior Gioco Indie sono stati nominati Cocoon, Dave the Diver, Dredge, Sea of Stars e Viewfinder.

Nella categoria Miglior Adattamento sono state nominate HBO’s The Last of Us, che sembra essere un vincitore probabile, insieme a Castlevania: Nocturne di Netflix, alla serie Twisted Metal di Sony e al film di Gran Turismo, oltre al film di Super Mario Bros.
